Research
Research is a strength at Université de Saint-Boniface and it consistently contributes to increasing the institution’s influence and prestige in all academic fields.
USB’s current research activities fall under six main headings:
- Francophone and Métis cultural and identity issues
- Regional development and social management
- Science, the environment and health
- Access to health care and social services in French
- Translation
- Education
A major Research Centre houses the Centre d’études franco-canadiennes de l’Ouest (CEFCO), Presses universitaires de Saint-Boniface (PUSB), the Canada Research Chair on Métis Identity (CRCMI), and the Community-University Research Alliance on Francophone Identities in Western Canada (ARUC-IFO).
